As a part of the department of Ayurveda at GS Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital, the OPD of Ayurveda is one of the busiest units catering world-class treatment to outpatients. The OPD cares explicitly for the patient's needs and is fully equipped with highly upgraded equipment and the latest technology. With the help of separate OPDs and very affordable registration costs, outpatients get the right cure for their physical concerns. These OPDs are monitored by -

A vast section of this multi-specialty health care center is dedicated to the OPD section that is functional daily from 9:00 AM till 04:00 PM. Being the largest Ayurvedic OPD unit in the state and neighboring boundaries with an expanded capacity, the GS Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital attend to six to ten thousand patients on a regular basis. Each OPD at the department of Ayurveda has four well-equipped chambers for Ayurvedacharya, BAMS, and MD doctors.

Besides this, routine pathological tests are done on the hospital campus at prescribed charges for all OPD patients. The department has set up a computerized registration system inside the OPD to keep track of patients for a long time, which helps to conduct Ayurveda research.

OPD Consultation

The OPD at GS Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital offers consultations for outpatients, and duty doctors are available on all working days. Consultants are also available on non-working days, and Ayurvedacharya, BAMS, and MD doctors are available for consultation around the clock. During non-working hours, in-house consultants will be available for consultation. The hospital has a variety of qualified and dedicated Ayurveda counselors who can answer questions.

New patients must register at the registration counter before consulting a Consultant, and staff or junior doctors will do initial screenings . We ask our patients to bring previous medical evaluations and investigations when visiting the OPD, as well as a copy of their registration or discharge summary card if they have consulted elsewhere.

Outpatient services are available in all specialties, and old (follow-up/review) patients should plan their visits according to the availability of the concerned consultant. We ask our patients to visit the OPD on the day of the consultant's duty, arrive early so they don't have to wait in line, and bring their registration or discharge summary cards with them.

The OPD is generally overcrowded, so patients must be stoic while visiting. GS Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital strives to meet the needs of all sections of society by providing quality medical services.

OPD Timing

Doctors with Bachelor of Ayurveda and MD degrees offer consultations in OPD of GS Ayurveda Medical College & Hospital from Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM and Saturday | 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.

New Patients can choose to see a doctor based on their preference or meet with advice from the OPD managers, whichever is more convenient for them.
